IP Helpdesk for the SME offices organised a stakeholder conference on the importance of intellectual property for innovative SMEs
The international (China, Latin America and South-east Asia) Intellectual Property (IP) SME Helpdesks, an initiative of the European Union, organised on 27 March a stakeholder conference on “the importance of intellectual property for innovative SMEs” in Brussels (Residence Palace).
Dr Ahmed Bouzidi, EBE President and CEO Vaxeal, shared his experience about the importance of Intellectual Property for the internationalisation of SMEs in the pharmaceutical area during a panel discussion. The purpose of the panel discussion was to create an ongoing dialogue/discussion among participants and moderator about the importance of Intellectual Property in their respective projects (with a focus on highlighted sectors). A key aspect of the discussions were matters with regards to internationalisation and research and innovation collaboration with partners in China, Latin-America and South-East Asia.
